Despierta Boricua, Incorporated and Levantate Latino, Incorporated are organizations that call the soil of our community “home”, and embraces our roots on every possible level. Not seeking recognition or boasting our accomplishments, we believe that celebration comes in the smiles of our children who enjoy the fruits of our labor. We understand that peace can only exist with justice; the struggle can only strive if it is sincere, and relationships must run on respect.

Despierta Boricua, Incorporated and Levantate Latino, Incorporated commit themselves, now and always, to the people of the Puerto Rican/Latino community wherever they may exist.

Their may not always be warm walls around us to keep the cold out so an event can be held… their may not always be sound systems available to broadcast our sensually styled sentiments… their may not always be an abundance of people presenting a vast population… but there will always, always, be the passion, drive, understanding, and the fortitude to wake and confront, head on, the ills of our community.
